Johanna Dominguez-Murillo, Interim Principal

Cindy Ragsdale, Intervential Specialist

After homeschooling her 4 children for 15 years, Ms. Ragsdale is joining the Cornerstone staff for the 2010-2011 school year. Ms .Ragsdale
earned a Bachelors Degree in English and a Masters Degree in Special Education from California State, Dominguez Hills. She has worked as a job coach and special education assistant for 7 years, a high school English teacher for 5 years, and an Educational Therapist. She is an active volunteer with the Boys & Girls Club
mentor program and is passionate in helping teens to discover their uniqueness and introduce them to entrepreneurship.

Kizmet White, Chief Operations Officer

Ms. White joined the Cornerstone team in 2005-2006.  Previously, Ms. White served the Boys & Girls Club of Venice for the previous 14 years, most recently as the Area Director of Operations.  She joined Cornerstone’s team as a Dean of Students and gradually assumed additional duties.  Today, she serves as the Chief Operational Officer overseeing the business side of the school and ensuring compliance with LAUSD guidelines, policies, and procedures.  

Armida Gonzalez, Finance Manager

Ms. Gonzalez began work for Cornerstone Prep School in July 2006 as the Office Manager.  A year later, she was promoted as the Finance Manager to work along side Debbie Brown, Chief Financial Officer.  She has 6 years of teaching experience, but her heart is in the business sector of schools.  She has a degree in Business Administration from Cal State Dominguez Hills.  She is currently responsible for reporting payroll, school purchases, annual inventory, accounts payable, personnel files, retirement systems reporting, and assisting the CFO in preparing for annual audits.  Eventhough she works behind the scenes, she embraces the goal of providing CPS students the best education possible overall.
