Cornerstone Prep is always looking for quality staff to ensure a high quality of service to its students. We offer a comprehensive compensation package that includes employee benefits. Cornerstone employs persons in the following roles:
Administrative Positions
Administrative positions include principals, deans, and instructional leaders.
Administrators are responsible for overseeing daily operations of the school sites, leading the staff in meeting the terms of the charter, and acting as a representative of the school with parents, community members, school district personnel, and the Board of Directors.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in school operations
- Teacher or administrative credential
- Bachelors Degree or higher
Instructional Staff
Instructional staff include teachers, teacher aides, and special education personnel. Instructional staff are responsible for the daily delivery of the school’s curriculum to students, as well as related tasks of supervising students, interacting with parents, and maintaining records.
Qualifications:
- California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential
- “Highly Qualified” as outlined in No Child Left Behind
- Bachelors Degree or higher
Non-Instructional and Support Staff
Non-instructional staff provide clerical and operations support to the school in the areas of clerical/office work, meal service, and maintenance/janitorial work.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Experience in the area of service
All employees are required to complete background checks and health screenings as required by LAUSD.
